Chamber hands out the hardware at Business Excellence Awards
CAMBRIDGE, Ont. - The outstanding accomplishments of the local business community were in the spotlight at the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Excellence Awards.
The event took place Thursday, May 28, at Tapestry Hall in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 350 local entrepreneurs, business professionals, elected officials, and community supporters representing Cambridge and Township of North Dumfries.
“These annual awards are an opportunity to recognize the innovation, resilience, and dedication that drive our business community forward,” said Cambridge Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Greg Durocher. “This year’s recipients exemplify excellence and demonstrate the positive impact local businesses have on our economy and quality of life.”
An adjudicating committee consisting of Chamber members were tasked to review nearly 70 nominations to select the recipients in nine categories.
Since 2000, the Business Excellence Awards has been Chamber’s premier event when it comes to recognizing the many contributions and achievements in the local business community.
The awards recognize businesses and individuals in Cambridge and Township of North Dumfries who have made outstanding contributions in the past year.
The evening featured networking opportunities, dinner, award presentations, and remarks highlighting the importance of supporting local business growth and collaboration.
