As the world heads towards International Women's Day 2019, work is underway to help leverage women's advancement, increase awareness raising about gender equality, and to celebrate women's achievements.
It is a day in which women from around the world unite in thoughts, prayers, struggles, hopes and dreams. Women's accomplishments in education, business, science, art, medicine, public service, athletics, and every other field have made our world better and stronger.
This year's theme will focus on #BalanceforBetter. Dr. Maclatchy's vision of collaborative leadership, listening to others, which brings balance to decisions is central to this year's theme.
