The City of Cambridge has over 365 hectares of parkland within the municipal limits. A number of these parks have reserveable picnic sites and our beautiful parks are a favourite site for weddings and wedding photographs. Some such as the Mill Race Park are popular. The City of Cambridge directly operates 12 recreational facilities across the municipality. Recreation Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools and water amusements, arenas, banquet halls, and senior’s centers. Many of our facilities are multi-purpose buildings and are home to a unique complement of facilities and services. Sports Hall of Fame
The Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame has a permanent, public display celebrating the unique sporting heritage of Cambridge. Located at the Cambridge Centre on Hespeler Rd., it is easily reached from Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph and Toronto. See whose accomplishments have been recognized.

Drayton Entertainment is a registered, not-for-profit charitable organization, and one of Canada's most successful professional theatre companies. From Broadway musicals, to laugh-a-minute comedies and riveting dramas, Drayton Entertainment presents the finest in live theatre for all ages at seven unique venues across Ontario: the Drayton Festival Theatre in Drayton, the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge in Cambridge, Huron Country Playhouse and Playhouse II in Grand Bend, King's Wharf Theatre in Penetanguishene, and St. Jacobs Country Playhouse and the Schoolhouse Theatre in St. Jacobs.
Trails and Cycling
Cambridge has over 50km of natural and urban trails throughout this picturesque city, 18km of these trails travel along the historic Speed and Grand Rivers. The scenery is spectacular.
The trail system is used by a variety of people who live and visit the community. Whether it's backpacking with family or enjoying an afternoon stroll, the Cambridge trail system offers many options to see the city.
