Cambridge Chamber of Commerce

Visiting Cambridge

The Chamber has always been the major source of tourism, promotion and information in the city and in January of 1981 contracted with the City of Cambridge for the operation of Cambridge Tourism, now Cambridge Visitor Services.

In June 2001, the Chamber of Commerce opened its doors to our new “Cambridge Business & Visitor Information Centre", located at the intersection of Hwy. 24 and 401. A state-of-the-art facility and the home of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, the “Gateway”, is strategically located to be the first contact with visitors for both leisure and business, and has an very attractive and accessible, 3,000 sq. foot Visitor Centre, and an additional 5,000 sq. ft. of office and meeting space.

The Visitor and Information Centre is open year-round and staffed by knowledgeable and professional Tourism Counsellors.  Cambridge Visitor Services also offers free Historic Step on Tours of the city to Motor Coach groups and stocks a wide variety of local and provincial tourism information, including maps and brochures.   Plan to Visit Cambridge Ontario!
